Dear all,
We are pleased to announce that a training course on GNDS, FUDGE and GIDI+ will be held May 21-24, 2024, at the NEA databank in Paris. This introductory class will be led by B. Beck and C. Mattoon from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The course is intended to give nuclear data evaluators and users an introduction to using the open-source codes FUDGE and GIDIplus (available from https://github.com/LLNL/fudge and https://github.com/LLNL/gidiplus) to generate and use nuclear data in GNDS. It will include tutorials on installing and using the codes, an introduction to many useful code features, and extra time to address attendee questions.
For more information, please see the registration page at https://www.oecd-nea.org/jcms/pl_87938/fudge/-mc-gidi/gnds-introductory-course. Please note that the deadline for registration is in early April. Early registration would be appreciated, to help the instructors in planning the course.
Apologies if you receive this notice multiple times! We are trying to reach out to anyone who might be interested in the course, so please feel free to forward this information to others who might be interested.
Cheers,
Caleb Mattoon
