Dear MCNP forum

I would like to let you know about a new nuclear data plotting website.

Perhaps it is useful to MCNP users wanting to compare cross-section data prior to simulation.

I shall list a few of the features here in case it anyone is interested.

Multiple cross sections can be added to a single plot, options include:

different incident particles (n, a, d, g, h, p, t)
different evaluations (EAF, ENDF, JEFF, JENDL, TALYS, CENDL, IRDFF)
experimental EXFOR data can be added to the plot
different target isotopes
different target elements with natural abundance of isotopes
different MT reactions

The graphic produced is dynamic and allows users to zoom, pan, change axis to log or linear scale, download an image, download the plotted data, change the canvas size of the plot.

Further customization such as LaTex notation and changing line colors are also available through the Plotly interface.

I have attached some example screen shots showing a few reactions important for fusion energy.

The website is still under development and several aspects could do with improvement, perhaps there are still some bugs I've not spotted (please let me know if you find any).

Browser compatibility is still an issue I am keen to fix, however everything works nicely in the latest version of Google Chrome

Hope the website is useful

All the best

Jonathan Shimwell

Thanks for sharing Paul,

Neat idea, bust it doesn't seem to work (and I am on chrome).  Plotly is a good choice.

Be Well

Strange. I worked alright for me on Chrome on both Arch and Ubuntu.

Hi Anthony

Sorry to hear ShimPlotWell did not working for you.

Occasionally I do mess around with it and try to fix things.

Would you be able to let me know if it is still not working?
