Plans for Icinga 2 support?

Hi I am new to pynag,

Not sure whether this has been asked before, are there any plans/interest in supporting the new icinga 2 format?  If so would you be interested in some code submissions?

We aren't actively working on it. It would be interesting. Personally I wished the Icinga2 team had made the decision to go for json/yaml/ini/whatever formats instead of coming up with yet another super extensible but not computer writable config format :/

Thanks for the update, and yes, json or similar would have been great.

 

In the short term, I will stick with icinga 1.x, so I can use pynag.
