What steps will reproduce the problem?
ml = MTLabel(label="this is a label", markup=True, pos=(300, 300),
autosize=True)
w = getWindow()
w.add_widget(ml)
runTouchApp()

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No label is displayed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
PyMT 0.5.1 on Ubuntu 10.10
