Hey guys,

as you may have noticed I am in the process of preparing the long
overdue next release of Pympler (0.2). When I had some spare time I have
worked on improving the test coverage (still not 100% but considerably
better than in Pympler 0.1) and there is a new web interface with
garbage visualization, stack browsing, class tracker stats, process metrics.

I know you have tight schedules and have moved on to different projects,
but maybe you have a little time to test the latest release candidate:

http://code.google.com/p/pympler/wiki/ReleaseTesting

Especially interesting would be testing on different platforms (OSX,
Solaris, BSD, Windows XP, ...). I'm on vacation the rest of the week and
I'd like to release the next version some time next week.

I hope you're doing well.
Cheers, Ludwig

I am still subscribed to the diff stats and see you hacking away regularly :) Cool thing, glad you make progress.

I don't have access to any desktop OS other than Ubuntu anymore (FWIW, the tests pass on my 64bit Lucid install). Other than that, I only have chromeOS, Android, and AppEngine for platforms. I tried pympler on AppEngine, but could not import it :|

Sorry, for being AWOL for so long.  I have been swamped with other projects and other issues.

I will certainly try 0.2 on MacOS, Windows and Solaris 10 as soon as I have a chance.  Not sure when yet, however.  It may take several weeks since I will be traveling starting next week till mid August.

/Jean
