It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

Umm .. seems like the Adytum-PyMonitor could not be donwloaded

Yes, I just checked the file in the web browser (http://projects.adytum.us/tracs/adytum/file/releases/Adytum-PyMonitor-1.0.4.tar.bz2), and the  BerkeleyDB backend needs a kick in the butt ('Berkeley DB error while opening environment for filesystem /home/svn/adytum/db:\nDB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery', 160029).

Which reminds me: when I do this next round of subversion repositories, they will be the new version with fsfs support, so we won't have to deal with the BDB crap.

Okay, I have run "recover" on that repos, so you should be able to download it now...

Sorry about that :-(
