Hello,
 I am trying to dump a range of registers from a Modbus RTU thru a usb=rs485 interface from raspberry. with a limited search i found that there are 3 implementations
* pymodbus
* minimalmodbus
* modbus-tk

As per the article in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17081442/python-modbus-library, i understand that modbus-tk had the best performance and scalability. But looks pymodbus is more active and popular.
*  Wanted to know if there are still performance issues with pymodbus. Are there any stability/reliability issues while reading registers from a modbus RTU or PLC?

regards
Vijay

Hi,

I have a similar requirement. Did you finally decide on which library to use. Any inputs are appreciated

Thanks
