Jeff, I think it's a great idea! Would
you be willing to take point in organizing a location / date?
I'll be glad to coordinate getting it up on Meetup and doing
mailings etc. to the group. Let's get this scheduled maybe
late-ish May?
Alternatively, we could host it at the Trylon Microcinema in
Minneapolis which is available on Thursday evenings for rental if
we are having a hard time finding a place. Digital projection and
50 classic rocker style seats however we'd be limited to a single
screen (which could be a good thing). If it is a single screen,
we could take the list of talks and put up a poll on Meetup to
vote on (BTW, the one on Rap Music was pretty entertaining).
Cost is $95/hr x 3 hour = $285 / 50 people = $5.75 a person? We
might be able to get one of the potential sponsors that I'm
talking with to shoulder some of the costs. Complete with popcorn!

Usually I don't like the idea of having a fee for a PyMNtos meetup
event, however if we did something special like this at the Trylon
-- I think it's OK in this case for doing it a retro / cool
place. For $10 we could probably bring in pizza or something (I'm
not sure on Trylon's rules here).
What are people's thoughts? +1 are welcome.
