January main meeting - lightning talks

Hello Pythonistas

 Peter will be out of town during our January main meeting.  I am helping him organize the Jan meeting.  The theme for January is "Basic Python".  I would like to begin with a 20 min talk on the very basics of Python such as list, dictionary, functions etc.  We are looking for 4-5volunteers to give talks on various topics such as regular expression, scientific computing, visualization and graphics etc.  If there are any other topic, you are welcome to present as well.  It will be good to provide some material such as programs, repos, presentations, Python notebook etc, so that attendees can practice later. 

 Please suggest any topic and the time that you will need for presenting by replying to this thread.
