I have a set of observational data redshifts and errors of galaxy's  ellipticities (shape measurement error) and I want to generate a mock data for these two quantities based on the non-parametric distribution of real data by using rejection sampling method. I am wondering whether it is possible to use pymc to sample via the non-parametric two dimensional distribution of my data?

We don't have a rejection sampler implemented right now, but its otherwise possible, as long as you have a function for calculating the likelihood.
