Monitoring NSAccessibilityWindowCreatedNotification events?

Hi

I'm trying to figure out how to monitor for dialog boxes that get
created by a particular app and then do something in response. It
seems that crankd can do this sort of thing, but does not support the
NSAccessibilityWindowCreatedNotification event.

Would it be possible for crankd to be modified to support this
notification? Or is there some fundamental reason why it won't be
possible?

If it's possible, how would I got about doing it?
