Whoosh Traffic (http://whooshtraffic.com) is an early-stage funded company (500Startups, Jason Cohen, Josh Baer), close to profitability, offering four products for business owners and marketing heads to track the ROI and progress of their SEO campaigns and to also plan future SEO campaigns. Whoosh Traffic is located in Austin, TX at the Capital Factory offices in downtown Austin.

A full-time position at our company heading the development of new features in our existing products, new potential products, and maintaining/refactoring existing code to be leaner and more pragmatic.

== The Requirements ==

- 3-8+ years experience with custom software development
- 2-3+ years of experience with Python, experience with the Pyramid or Pylons framework is a big plus
- Organized, self-managing, requiring little supervision
- Can own a problem, present designs, and accept feedback professionally
- Proven track record of developing solutions in Python, (experience with Erlang is a plus)
- Experience with various NoSQL DBs (Riak, Cassandra, BigTable, Redis, CouchDB, MongoDB, etc.), and when to use them
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant experience
- Located in Austin, TX
