The weed-controlled device works by integrating cameras, computer vision, machine learning and robotics to make an intelligent sprayer which drives through fields to target and spray weeds, leaving the crops intact, working essentially the same way facial recognition technology operates. The program was shown thousands of pictures of weeds until it was able to recognize the difference between the weeds and crops. According to Blue River Technology, it would save up to 90% of what is currently used for herbicides.

As it is pulled through the fields, the cameras analyze each frame and produce a pixel-accurate map of where the crops and weeds are. Once the plants are all identified, each weed and crop is mapped to field locations, while the robot sprays only the weeds.

The Weed Free Forage program inspects forage or mulch before it is harvested to ensure there are no noxious weeds in the mulch or forage. The use of certified weed-free forage and mulch is intended to reduce the spread of weeds on public land or other areas where forage or mulch is used.

The chief technology officer helpfully laid out the three digital pillars of Facebook's effort to keep you from scoring drugs on its platform: keyword matching, computer vision, and "nearest neighbor manifold expansion." These tools, when combined, allow Facebook to ban the one thing people actually want more of from Facebook. Yes, we're talking about weed.

Schroepfer gave an example of a photo of weed packaging, and said that Facebook's AI is able to identify these unfamiliar images as containing a federally illegal drug because it can figure out what they most resemble.

We encourage you to follow our Facebook page for updates about the backpack program, events or noxious weeds in the area. Thank you so much. We hope you have a wonderful spring and summer spraying weeds in the area.

Some cannabis companies are paying influencers to spread the word about their topicals, edibles and other weed products. Others are working directly with publishers to use their social credibility or are creating fake pages to test what kind of ad content will fly. The result: These niche businesses are playing something of a cat-and-mouse game with Facebook and other platforms, seeing what they can get away with.

In general, the use of influencers in cannabis marketing is rising. Influencer analytics platform Traackr analyzed the top 250 cannabis influencers and found that overall, edibles producers like Incredibles and Wana have increased their use of influencers by 32 percent from this time last year, and weed delivery services such as Eaze, greenRush and SpeedWeed have increased their use of influencers by 29 percent from this time last year.

As might be expected, upset users claimed that Facebook's so-called "war on weed" was in violation of their first amendment rights and many businesses scrambled to get Facebook to reinstate their pages without success. But according to Bradley Shear, a digital rights lawyer who has worked with several clients on Facebook-related issues, the company is totally within its rights to pull the plug on any content on the platform.

Ultimately, Facebook's war on weed underscores our over reliance on a handful of massive corporations to police what we can and can't say online. It's another reason to believe we need more alternatives to Facebook, and platforms like Mastodon are slowly proving the strength of this position. But until we have a sativa-friendly social network or full legalization at the national level, it's probably best to leave your thoughts on #dank #nugs in IRL.

Clever cannabis influencers and brands have turned to sneakier hashtags like #ouid and #wəəd to get around algorithm limitations. These creative workarounds are not unlike the shorthand cannabis enthusiasts employed throughout prohibition to communicate about weed with like-minded consumers. Just look at 420, one of the most enduring and well-recognized memes to come out of cannabis culture since federal prohibition was enacted in 1970.

Some hashtags that you might expect to be totally saturated with weed content have actually been coopted by other enthusiasts with tongue firmly in cheek. Search #reefermadness on Instagram, for example and you'll find a mix of posts about the seminal 1930s anti-drug propaganda film, the early aughts cult classic Reefer Madness: The Musical, as well as colorful photos of coral reefs and graffiti-coated train cars.

The rise of emojis, too, has given cannabis enthusiasts new ways to talk undercover about their favorite plant. While there is no official weed emoji, those who partake have adopted the sprout, broccoli, tree and alembic emojis as symbols of flower, concentrates and other consumables. Despite corporate censorship, these reference points have even gotten baked into the subculture of prominent social media platforms, sometimes in surprising ways.

Los Angeles County abatement of hazardous vegetation (weeds and brush) is a joint enforcement and clearance effort between the Los Angeles County Department of Agricultural Commissioner/Weights & Measures (ACWM) and the City of Monterey Park. Over the years, the program has provided defensible space for firefighters, demonstrably saving many homes from fire and almost certainly preventing fires from starting in the first place. If your property is on the Weed Abatement list and you have received a notice, from the County of Los Angeles, Department of Agriculture Commissioners/Weights and Measures, proceed with their instructions for compliance of the Fire Code.

These weeds are abundant in Montana and widespread in many counties. Management criteria will require eradication or containment where less abundant. Management shall be prioritized by local weed districts:

Smoking weed can affect child custody in Texas because a judge will decide how your usage affects your child. However, a new Texas law states that parental marijuana use alone cannot be the basis for termination.

The bottom line is that a judge will determine if your usage harms your child. For example, you can argue that you only smoke or ingest weed after your child sleeps. However, because weed can dull the senses, a judge will consider that you won't be able to react as quickly should something happen involving your child's safety.
