i need to build a 4-bit signed binary multiplier,
range from -15 to 15 using python.

i find this interesting.  I used prolog to generate a multiplier here http://swn1.com/fir/fir.html

In a previous life i used Tcl to generate FPGA code for a board that was produced.

Details of representation matter here.  Are the inputs twos complement or sign magnitude?  And what exactly do you mean by generate a circuit?  Is the output of the pyke plan a verilog representation of the multiplier?  Does it have to be synchronous?

Is this homework?
