Create a screen lock app Android

Hi all,


Im trying to create a sceen lock app with kivy for Android.

I understand that Pyjnius can access Java classes, I would like to know if im wasting my time.

I have researched and found that I need the BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN permission
I need to use the Device Administration API


I have no knowledge of Java and would like to know if with Pyjnius its possible to create a screenlock app.
