Hey guys,

I'm having real trouble installing PyISAPIe.

I have been following this tutorial:

http://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/DjangoOnWindowsWithIISAndSQLServer

After installing PyISAPIe, I try to do the suggested step to see if
everything is working OK:

"That's it installed. In c:\pyisapie\source\PyISAPIe\Python\examples
folder is a file called Info.py. Copy this to your new virtual
directory folder, and then try and view http://site/Info.py to test
it. It should work. If it doesn't, when you find out why, please come
back and explain what happened and how you fixed it. ;)"

However, I get the following returned:

<html><head><title>Error</title></head><body>The specified module
could not be found.
</body></html>

Does anyone have any idea why this may be the case? Could anyone offer
any suggestions for resolving?

Cheers!
Nick.

Hi Nick,

It'd help a lot if we knew what OS, IIS and PyISAPIe versions you're
working with- there's a lot of differences depending on those values.

Hi Phillip,

I have the same problem as OP. I am using IIS6, Win Server 2003,
Python 2.6.5, and PyISAPIe 1.013.

I followed the instructions on this Group as well as on the Django
site, but failed to see the output of Info.py when I put it in my
virtual directory. I simply get the message The specified module
cannot be found.

I've tried changing permissions, putting the Http folder in different
spots and restarting IIS with no success.

I would appreciate any suggestions!

Thank you!
