Hello,

up to now I didn't find any satisfying information on opencv support. In my opinion opencv is a widely used and distributed tool for image and video processing in python. It would be really helpful to have a full support of this package by PyInstaller, especially since the opencv installer is quite large.

Are there any plans to explicitely support opencv in near future?

Best regards,

Michael

opencv is supported as of https://github.com/pyinstaller/pyinstaller/pull/36. You'll need to use the current development version, of course.

Fine, I took the developer version and indeed, it worked. But now, I have a new problem. The total runtime of my program as a script (opencv, numpy, matplotlib) is about 4 to 5 seconds. As exe-file it takes about 30 to 40 seconds to finish. Well, this in unacceptable. Is there any mode that just collects together all necessary files in one directory without slowing down the execution (start-up time)?

Best regards,

Michael
