Dear pyhf users,
pyhf and all the other Scikit-HEP projects follow a version of the
NEP 29 recommendations, which recommended dropping support of Python 3.7 at the end of 2021. pyhf is considering dropping support for Python 3.7 for future releases with the next minor release, v0.8.0, but we want to ensure that this wouldn't be problematic for any users or analyses that are constrained to using Python 3.7 only indefinitely. If you have any feedback on this topic please share it on the GitHub Discussion
Drop Python 3.7 as part of NEP 29 (#2042).
Best,
The pyhf dev team (Lukas, Matthew, and Giordon)
