what is 'pyglet' short for? and what is the meaning of its logo?

My native language is not English, I do not know what is 'pyglet' short for? for pygame, it is easy to understand, python + game, pygame, how about pyglet? python + gl (Graphics Library) + et(et cetera) ? and what about its logo, for pygame, it a snake(python) + cotroller(game), what is pyglet logo, it is seemed too abstract to guess.

A 'piglet' is a baby pig. I assume 'pyglet' is just changed to use the 'py' prefix often used by python programs.

Yep, with the "gl" bit in the middle because OpenGL :-)

I noticed there is a 3D stylized pyglet logo in the contrib folder in the repo. Does anyone know the history with that? Was it maybe intended to be the new logo?
