The last release was over 2 years ago now. I'm quite satisfied with
pyglet's current state but, like all technology, it will slowly be
replaced with something else. I want to know if there is a scheduled
release of pyglet 1.5.

That's actually a good question. The latest release is indeed great,
but the unknown state of the project makes me feel kinda uncomfortable
:) I see regular and really sweet changes and fixes in mercurial
repository, but I don't know if I should use the hg version (how
stable is it?) or just stick to latest release and wait for the next
release to happen soon.

I know Alex is not working on pyglet anymore, but I thought other
great guys took over it and development goes on. Though lack of
official information on the project state is something that bugs me a
bit. Can you guys clarify on that topic?

As far as I know, there are still quite a few people contributing fixes, etc.

Unfortunately, without a dedicated project lead (Alex et al having to step back from that role due to time constraints), larger developments are a lot slower, and at this moment there isn't really a centralised roadmap for the future.
