OS X Intel 64-bit users, PLEASE TEST! AVbin 8 release

I think I have successfully built AND packaged (at least how it was done before) AVbin for OS X Intel, 64-bit.  I have no idea whether this will work on others' machines, though, so we need some testing and feedback.  In theory, I think this ought to work on Snow Leopard as well as Lion (I built it on Lion).

P.S. If I get some time tomorrow, I'll try to build an actual OS X installer package, which will seem more normal to users downloading a binary distribution (the current file is a zip file with an included installer shell script)

I am on such a system and downloaded it. But I'm currently sick and my
brain isn't really working, so feel free to email me directly if it
isn't being tested.
