Hi all,

I've adapted the code from the ipython/python terminal to display 2d
numpy arrays (using texture) directly within the terminal.

Very cool!
Wonder if it can be used for some scientific visualization?

Thanks !
Yes, the idea is to be able to use it for scientific visualization. I
posted on matplotlib to try to design an opengl backend on this base.
Currently, I use it as it is for my own scientific needs. Hope it can
help others as well.
