I was looking for some yacc-like parser software and
cam across Pyggy which looks excellent (exactly what
I was hoping for) except...

I notice that there are several bug fixes described in
these messages that haven't been applied to the downloadable
software (version 0.4.1), there are several messages from
Tim Newsham (creator/maintainer) apologizing for how busy
he has been, traffic in this group is really light (last message
3 months ago), there seems to be a significant outstanding
bug (run into by several people) that is unaddressed), all of
which lead me to ask......

Is Pyggy moribund? Should further bugfixes/enhancements
be expected, realistically? Is anyone using Pyggy for an
important (career affecting) project?

I've found it hard recently to make time to update pyggy. I do
still intend to, but as you can see, the last release has been a
while ago. Pyggy should be fairly stable for your needs, but
there have been several new arrivals that have similar features
as pyggy and are actively maintained.
