Build on MacOS X

Hi all

 I've got a project that, pyffmpeg looks like a perfect fit for and while it's target deployment is Linux, is being developed on my Macbook.  I'd rather not do the development through a VM, does anyone here have success building and using pymmpeg on Mac OS?
