hi,

now, I try to encode a video from pictures with pyffmpeg.
but FFMpegReader can't open for encoding, with write-mode.

according to the source, FFMpegReader.write_frame() is comment-outed,
and very earty coding(e.g. C-language operators '->', pixmap(maybe
from Qt sample))

So, currently, pyffmpeg doesn't support to encode videos?

Dear Kato Kanryu,

As you noticed the port of the code for encoding is unfortunately unfinished in pyffmpeg.

I am happy to notice that this year pyffmpeg is quite active and that numerous contributions
have been provided. I was quite busy recently but, each time, I receive a contribution or
a bug warning it remind me how much important it may be important to improve pyffmpeg.
To add support for encoding, and cleaning the design of pyffmpeg by making them a bit closer
to what used to be pymedia is maybe the right direction to take.
I will take time to work on pyffmpeg soon.

Bertrand
