Hello,

I've been discussing recently with Nicolas Pinto that has developped
another branch of pyffmpeg with numpy.
We aggreed on the idea of considering a merge of the "stable
branches".

Nicolas suggested that we migrate the repository from "google-code" to
"github".
It seems that git would allow us to have much more flexible branches
and commits...
and it suits very well to small projects like pyffmpeg.

Moreover, git support commiting to have multiple repositories, and it
supports synchronization with SVN.

Hence it seems to me like a good idea to migrate to github for
development, although
I believe it may be better to keep the "google code" page for other
users.
(As users seems to me more used to "google-code", than github)

For those that want to try the github, I already synchronized the
project on github :
http://github.com/tranx/pyffmpeg/

It is temporary possible to use both systems.

Let us know if you have some particular opinion about this issue.

Bertrand
