B.PAC is looking to recruit 'Outreach and Communication Manager' to lead the media wing at B.PAC.
Who we are?
Bangalore Political Action Committee (B.PAC) is a non-partisan ‘not for profit’ trust that aims to improve governance in Bengaluru city and to enhance the quality of life of every citizen. B.PAC is specifically targeting good governance practices, integrity
and transparency in all arms of the government, improving the quality of infrastructure in the city, identification and support of strong candidates for public office at all levels of governance in Bangalore city and the creation of a safer city where the
rule of law is ensured for all citizens of Bangalore.
What we do?
B.PAC's core area of work is 'Participatory Democaracy Program'. We believe that a strong political will is required to see positive change. To envisage this, we focus on our defined principles i.e., programs to bring in a sense of belonging among residents,
voter registration drive, voter awareness drives, endorsement of candidates during elections (to help citiznes make an informed choice) and continued engagement with elected representatives by questioning, participating and monitoring their work.
Our flagship program B.CLIP (Civic Leadership Incubator Program) is one of it's kind initiative that selects, trains and supports talented individuals who wish to transform their city. We have a network of over 150 leaders across Bengaluru city.
Along with these, our other flagship programs are B.SAFE for safety of women and children, B.CLEAN/B.GREEN (environment), B.PROUD (culture and heritage) and other advocacy and regulatory affairs.

Our engagement model:
B.PAC is an action oriented organization wherein any pressing problem of city is addressed by expert consultation and identification of solution; then the policy/solution is advocated to government and concerned departments; further the policy/solution is implemented
by B.CLIP leaders and elected representatives.
The organization believes in collaborative efforts and strives to connect experts, government, elected representatives, civic leaders and citizens.

What are we looking for:
- Strong written and communication skills
- Self-starter
- Ability to manage social media pages
- Right attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Designing /video making/ data visualization (optional) etc.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Content development and website management (Program reports, press releases and newsletters)
- Post program content on social media , monitor social media mentions and followers
- Media tracking responsibilities
- Creation /support creation of other collaterals such as posters, video etc.

We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, ability to work with a small team and passion to share positive and relevant stories that is carving change in Bengaluru city.
