JOB LOCATION - NSoJ (New Airport Road, Opp Jakkur Airfield, Bangalore)

As a marketing team we are passionate about telling the story of National School of Journalism through effective, professional communication pieces on all platforms and building the brand globally.

We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing marketing communications coordinator with a keen eye for detail, impeccable writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to think quickly and independently. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Support marketing day-to-day operations including media campaigns, promotions and projects.
• Support social media efforts through posting on our social media platforms, coordinating insights and blog content
• Assist in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports.
• Assist with special projects and help coordinate and plan events
• Update and manage the NSoJ website.
• Research, maintain and report on marketing data to aid management in determining marketing direction
• Plan educational and networking events

• Maintain the look, feel and tone of the NSoJ brand, editing materials to ensure brand compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, english, business management or any other related field
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Demonstrates strong organizational and follow-up skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while working under tight deadlines
• Proactive, results-driven, self-motivated and analytical 
• Team-oriented approach with the ability to effectively work autonomously
• Professional demeanor, able to effectively interact with all levels of the firm
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. Knowledge of Corel Draw, Photoshop or other design tools will be a plus.
