I have added a section in the README on Github where I list two
links to papers and blog posts where the usage of pydna is mentioned.

Do you have any other link I might put up there?

I need these external sources for a wikipedia article I would like to write on pydna.
I wrote one already, but it was thrown out due to lack of external sources.

cheers,

Hi, just found pydna after thinking something like this must exist. Hope to use it in the near future and also spread the word in the group. It seems we are the right target group. Lots of subcloning, little programming skill.

Unsure on how to include it publications, but I will try to weave it in.

Did not have the chance yet to peruse the capabilities, but wondered if there is a option to generate vector images of plasmid maps.

Thanks for all your efforts and sincerely hope I will be able to take advantage of them.

Hi, I am happy to hear that you consider pydna useful.

I developed pydna as a way to document genetic constructions in a way that
would be both easy to read and easy to verify. This seems to me ever more important as
the number of constructs and people involved in their construction and use increase.

I am in the process of releasing the next version which may have some backwards incompatibility. I have reduced the codebase somewhat by removing some functionality rarely used and better solved by other packages. What is new is 100% (or close) test coverage and preservation of features in the
homologous recombination module.

cheers,
Bjorn
