Hi, we want to give a water reward using the PyControl Nose-poke ports with acrylic fronts for mice by feeding a steel tube trough the acrylic front. The documentation only says to get a 2mm outer diameter steel tube, but it only fits through the printed circuit board, not the acrylic front. Do you have recommendations how to fit it through the front too?

Something like in the picture for nine nose pokes, but just for a single one.

To use the 2mm diameter stainless steel tubes for fluid delivery with the pokes, drill out the hole in the acrylic that makes up the back wall of the poke with a 2.1mm drill bit (e.g. RS components part # 545-856).  This gives a snug fit for the tube.

best,

Thomas
