call for volunteers + hardware - Pycon Canada 2013 Webmaker workshop

We're very happy to announce that we are going to be holding a youth WebMaker workshop at PyCon Canada 2013, in partnership with Hive Toronto (https://twitter.com/HiveToronto) and Mozilla! Signups will open soon, but in the meantime we could use help with a couple of things:

Volunteers.

If you or someone you know would like to volunteer to help out at the workshop on Aug 10 and 11 (especially if they have some experience with teaching or working with youth), we would like to meet them! Just email bo...@pycon.ca and let us know that you're interested, and what motivation for or relevant experience you have working with kids!

Laptops. 

If you have an old laptop kicking around that you wouldn't mind loaning out for the weekend, we would be very grateful. Requirements are minimal, it just needs to be able to run a recent build of FireFox. We'd like to have 5-10 of these on hand for participants who might not be able to bring their own hardware. We promise to take good care of it! Please email bo...@pycon.ca if you have a laptop you'd like to loan out.
