Announcing our hosts for PyCon APAC 2023: JP

Hi folks,

In July 2022, I asked if there was any community in APAC which was
interested to host PyCon APAC 2023:

We didn't receive any proposals after that email, but at the end of
January 2023, our friends in JP sent a proposal to host APAC:

After waiting for 2 weeks for any other proposals, the dateline on
12th Feb 2023 23:59 AoE has passed.

Since I would like to give certainty to our new hosts and also to the
community in order that they can set their plans accordingly, I would
like to announce that the JP community will host PyCon APAC 2023. The
tentative date is October 26th (Thu) to 29th (Sun) 2023.

Thank you to the JP team for stepping up, and congratulations for
being our hosts for 2023. We look forward to a successful event from
you folks!

I'm Lina Katayose, PyCon JP 2023 chairperson.
Thank you for your response and decision from the APAC members.

I understood your decision.
JP members will take the responsibility to make the conference more enjoyable and fulfilling.

The JP Team is meeting regularly and working towards holding the conference.

Our basic language is Japanese, but if you are able to join us, we would be glad if you could come online.
