Proposal for PyCon APAC 2024: ID

Hi folks,

In order to keep our discussion easy to find and in one place, I have opened an Issue on GitHub for members of the community to ask questions and clarification here:

With a proposal from a community member coming in, I would like us to officially start the process of CfP submissions to host PyCon 2024 from today. We haven't thought of an end date yet, but since PyCon APAC in JP this year will end on 28th Oct, we should decide on a next host by then.

So, if your community is also thinking of hosting PyCon APAC 2024, please prepare your CfP (it doesn't have to be perfect) and send it over within August. We can then have at least a month in Sept to discuss and vote in Oct if there are multiple proposals.

If we don't have another proposal by midnight 00:00 9th of Sept 2023 AOE, I would like us to consider any single proposal that we have as the new hosts.
