Hello Tamás,
you pointed out:

Windows MSI Installer: On Windows python-chess engine (.exe-file) is only usable inside PyChess GUI. If you want to run python-chess engine outside of PyChess GUI you have to grab the latest engine from PyChess Engine 2018.09.28 and run it with a Python interpreter (Python3 or PyPy 3). The.pyz files are python executable zip files - Packaging Python programs as runnable ZIP files

Can the PyChess Engine v0.99.3 be used on different Linux distributions in the same manner like Windows MSI edition? Or it is easier to copy the Linux engine and embed it originally (without modifications) into a foreign graphical interface e.g. http://www.playwitharena.com/?Download:Arena_for_Linux ?

You can run pychess-engine (the .pyz file contains only python source code files!) on any OS (Windows/Mac/Linux) if it has Python3/PyPy3 installed.
