can't run pychess RPM from pychess website downloads

After installing the pychess-0.99.1-1.py36.noarch.rpm from the pychess website, I get:

[mgatto@maggie ~]$ pychess

ERROR: Could not import modules.

Please try to run pychess as stated in the INSTALL file

[mgatto@maggie ~]$ which pychess

/usr/local/bin/pychess

[mgatto@maggie ~]$ cat /etc/fedora-release

Hi Matt!

That .rpm was created with https://github.com/pychess/pychess/blob/master/create_rpm_py36.sh
It's possible that packages listed there are outdated. Telling the truth the .rpm dependencies in INSTALL file was last revisited in 2015.
Unfortunately I have no rpm based distrib to test it now. It would be good if someone using fedora can take a look at it.
