problems with spam in the mailing list

Hi all,

many of you have notice we are having some issues controlling the spam
that gets into the mailing list. I did set up the list as only members
can post to it but then we have some 'nice' spammers registered as
members and I can't remove them since I'm not 100% sure if they are
spammers or not.

What other options do we have instead of Google Groups? Any
suggestions? Some other projects [1] are having same problems as Pycha
:(

Lorenzo, try freelists.org, we host there all the mailing lists for Haiku OS and we didn't receive any spam yet.
