Hello everybody, hello Py6S creator,

My internship subject (comparision  of different atmospheric corrections of an hyperspectral image)
I am using Py6S to correct a pixel of an image taken by a sensor of the laboratory where I work,
the sensor type is AISA and is not among the sensors predefined in Py6S,

1) I would know if it is possible to integrate the sensor AISA in Py6S ?

2) I would also ask a question about aero_profile , is it normal that when I enter s.visibility = 6.4 I see in the outputs s.outputs.visibility = 8.4 ?

3) in AtmosCorr.AtmosCorrLambertianFromRadiance() I enter as input a radiance measured at the sensor level, is this what is expected from the user as an input?

Thank you in advance for your answer

Best regards,

Hi,

Is this one of the Specim AISA hyperspectral sensors (e.g., Eagle, Hawk or Fenix)?

Some of the setting we use for our Specim AISA Fenix are detailed on our wiki: https://nerc-arf-dan.pml.ac.uk/trac/wiki/Processing/Py6S_vs_Hyperspectral/Py6SParameters
Happy to provide more details if needed.

The way we use Py6S is to simulate at-sensor radiance from ground spectra rather than for atmospheric correction but a lot of the settings should be similar.

Thanks,

Dan
