Dear Robin,
While following the installation guide, it is mentioned that

Compile the source code: $ make

But I receive following message:

'make' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Please guide me how to compile the 6S source code.

Thanks

Hi,

You’ll need to make sure you install the make command and add it to your path - see step 1 at this link: https://py6s.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html#installing-6s

Unless you have a desperate need to compile 6S yourself, I would strongly recommend installing 6S through conda, particularly on Windows.

Best regards,

Robin
