We will look at using the GTK GUI toolkit from Python with special
reference to two challenges faced when doing scientific programming:
plotting and interfacing between Python and C. *We'll run examples that
will work on a modern Ubuntu Linux install, and as the session will be
hands-on, you are invited to follow along.*
