...not to end up like this: http://www.mail-archive.com/pypy...@codespeak.net/msg03946.html

this 'argument' between developers of pypy( the fastest python implementation) and Luke( the maintainer of pyjamas) is interesting to follow. I agree with the pypy developers in that pyjamas seams to be more of a nother language then Python. I would like to see that this project becomes python compleat.

What do you think.

ps.
I have fore a few days spent time on helping out on a nother project, checkit out: pytddmon.org
I'll slow down development some time now.. and enjoining the summer, and hopefully some paid work.
But don't hesitate to contact me.

I think that the pypy people simply didn't have time to maintain the
javascript translator. I communicated a little bit with the pyjamas
original author several years ago (before Luke came) and tried to
support Luke to maintain it, as I believed back then and I still do,
that the idea is sound.

There are also other approaches how to run Python in the browser,
like: http://jslinux.org/, and http://emscripten.org/.

Well, for me, ppyjames is a bad choice. It has to few things in common with Pyhton. And i have had my disputes with Luke before i found and joined py2js.
