I'm planning a chat session with all of you on Sunday IST. I'm available from 8 AM to 9:30 PM IST. Please tell what times each of you are available on Sunday so I can schedule a time when all of us are available. IST (Indian Standard Time) is 5:30 ahead of UTC (Universal Coordinated Time). Hope to see you in the chat!

Alright, I am in PST (Pacific Standard Time).
I went to the following site to get a PST to IST conversion.
http://www.sitesworld.com/time/pst-to-ist.html

I am available from 3:00 PM PST to 10:00 PM PST

this means our available over lap time is
8:00 AM IST to 11:30 AM IST
6:30 PM PST to 10:00 PM PST

so from this range it makes sense to pick a time.
What are your thoughts?

Looks good.
I think most people should be available around this time.

It will be done on the #py2c channel on Freenode.

I wonder why only aeroaks showed up. He said hello but I wasn't looking at my chat client, so I didn't know. He should have said "RamchandraApte:hello" so that a notification would have popped up on my chat client. I forgot to mention that it is #py2c on Freenode. I am using Quassel BTW.

Its alright, around (8:30 ISD/ 7:00 PST) using xchat I logged onto the Freenode server, joined the #py2c channel, then said "hello".  I was not sure if anyone got my message so I came back about 30minutes later to check the chat for any responses, but still no response.  I figured that I must have joined the wrong channel, or maybe I had got the time wrong.

You should have notified me by using "RamchandraApte:hello" (a notification pops up) because I'm not looking at my chat client all the time. Next chat session will be on Sunday. this time, remember to use "RamchandraApte:hello". If there is any change in timings, please say so.

Another thing, try to join #py2c whenever you are available so that at least some of us can chat.
