Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm alternative?

Hello,

I realized that L-M training algorithm is not included in Neurolab unfortunately.

What is the best alternative algorithm that is supported for Multi-layer perceptron network type (newff)?

The task I'm interested in doing is nonlinear regression. (rather than pattern recognition)

Bfgs alg is best alt nw. https://pythonhosted.org/neurolab/lib.html#neurolab.train.train_bfgs
