There's a bunch of pre-baked particle effects in this gallery. Some
neat ideas

That would certainly help marketing 8^) I also like what they did with
the flint particle engine examples

Though they have the advantage of being able to run the engine in the browser.

I think the first step would be some easy way to render the effects
out to a sprite sheet or movie. I've wanted to do that with the
existing examples for a while, they'll need some refactoring to be
usable in that way, but it would be worth it.

If you have any good ideas along these lines, let me know.

P.S. I tried out your pygame entry, excellent and fun! Glad you were
able to successfully leverage lepton in it.
