Execution failure under Ubuntu Hardy

[There doesn't seem to be any "Followup" or "Reply" button in this
group, so I'm having to make this a new thread]

I installed simplejson as recommended (why isn't it in the list of
dependencies users need to install? I can't imagine many -- any --
users having it installed already!)

Now I get this:

Again, a dependency no ordinary user will have installed. Is it
something to do with Python?
