not mentioned in the course, should i learn Data Structure and Algorithms simultaneously?

Other than having to stare at some algorithms in reversing (and reason about their effects in shellcoding), you won't really need DSA knowledge in this course. That being said, DSA generally comes pretty early in the CS curriculum, and this course might not be doable for someone just starting out...
