Hi

I am testing to install PWM to try but as a beginner to Linux and Ldap, I am hoping someone could help me with the steps? I have managed to get the URL but stuck here from that point. I am trying with active directory - store responses in a database. I have installed mySQL but couldnt login with user account from mysql or AD account. I can login to phpmyadmin page. But mysql admin account doesnt have permission on Select_Priv. Should I choose yes to all?

I installed pwm v1.7.1 on ubantu 14.04. I have 2 errors at the moment...

DatabaseWARNDatabase server is not available: 5051 ERROR_DB_UNAVAILABLE (get operation failed: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver)
LDAPWARN

unable to read test user data: 5051 ERROR_DB_UNAVAILABLE (get operation failed: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver)

Really appreciate if someone could assist me...

Thank you very much.

Make sure your database is running, listens on TCP and that your credentials are correct (Google for instructions on MySQL setup and GRANT statements). Or disable the use of a database until you figured out how that works... For testing purposes you may use LocalDB (which does not requires difficult configuration, but is not recommended for production).
