Hi guys,

I need to install PWM by docker and I get this error
Unable to find image 'pwm/pwm-webapp:latest' locally

I've already checked inside docker hub and I couldn't found the right image.

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance!

There is no official docker image of PWM in the docker hub registry.  We provide a docker image you can download from the downloads folder or you can produce your own image using maven.

OK it's here : https://www.pwm-project.org/artifacts/pwm/

1. Download the docker image (.tar file) on this url https://www.pwm-project.org/artifacts/pwm/. For exemple (change URL with the last version) :

2. Load docker image.
    docker load --input=pwm-docker-image-2.0.0-SNAPSHOT.tar

3. Run docker image named pwm/pwm-webapp (make sure to have /opt/pwm folder created)
    docker run -d --name pwm -p 8443:8443 -v "/opt/pwm/config/:/config/" pwm/pwm-webapp

Exemple with docker-compose :

version: '3'

services:
  pwm:
    network_mode: bridge
    image: pwm/pwm-webapp
    container_name: pwm
    ports:
      - 8443:8443
    volumes:
      - './pwm/config/:/config/'
    restart: always

Do you know a way to build a docker image from your tar file using a dockerfile?
We have a workflow that use docker build -t <dockerfile> , but I can't find a way to build PWM using it.

Pourya,

Sorry I don't understand what your asking.  The tarball *is* a docker image.  You can use docker load to load it:

docker load --input=pwm-docker-image-v2.0.0.tar

See the docker section on the github project page:

Hope this helps.
