Had a functioning 1.5.2 installation, while updating to 1.5.5 it
appears the edirectory schema needs to be updated. I'm getting the
following errors trying to update the schema....any input?

Record 1: LBURP operation failed: 20(Type or value exists), dn:
cn=schema
Record 2: LBURP operation failed: 20(Type or value exists), dn:
cn=schema
Record 3: LBURP operation failed: 20(Type or value exists), dn:
cn=schema
Record 4: LBURP operation failed: 20(Type or value exists), dn:
cn=schema
Record 5: LBURP operation failed: 20(Type or value exists), dn:
cn=schema
Record 6: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema
Record 7: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema
Record 8: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema
Record 9: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema

Thanks in advance,

Type or value exists, means that your trying to add a new value for an existing one, but not actually replacing it. Try to remove these operations and only add the new values.

Record 6: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema
Record 7: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema
Record 8: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema
Record 9: LBURP operation failed: 21(Invalid syntax), dn: cn=schema

I'm not sure about these ones.

All in all, I don't think the schema has changed a lot, except for the addition of the optional pwmGUID. It may be easier to add it manually through iManager and add pwmGUID to the pwmUser objectClass.

After that, don't forget to update permissions, if necessary.

Thanks in advance,

The first entries are used to create attributes and an object class. The last entries are to update the existing attributes and class (remove/add). When the attributes are in use, removing may not even work; I think you can ignore them. If you have pwmGUID in your schema and added to the pwmUser class, you should be fine.

Looking at the LDIF... The first entries are operations that ADD new attributes and a class for PWM, the last (6-9) update existing values. I think you can just ignore the messages about 6-9. If you have pwmGUID in, you should be fine now.
