Schema Extension Error Using AD-schema.ldif

I'm trying to extend my Schema using the active directory file. I am running: ldifde -i -f AD-schema.ldif -c "DC=x" "DC=my,DC=great,DC=org,DC=domain" I get the following error:

Entry DN: CN=pwmEventLog,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=my,DC=great,DC=org,DC=domain

Add error on entry starting on line 20: Referral

The server side error is: 0x202b A referral was returned from the server.

The extended server error is:

0000202B: RefErr: DSID-030A08E3, data 0, 1 access points

ref 1: 'redacted._msdcs.my.great.org.domain'

An error has occurred in the program

Obviously my domain isn't my.great.org.domain but you get the idea. Any help would be appreciated!

I see the word 'referral' so maybe try it on a different server?  I dunno AD LDAP error messages are beyond unhelpful.
