Did you look at the logs?  

AD permissions and settings often interfere  with the DN browser.  As an alternative use an LDAP Browser (like Apache Directory Studio) and copy/paste DNs from there.   It's a good idea to have an LDAP browser open anyway.

PWM seems to be able to connect to my Active Directory with no issue using my LDAP server address, however, when I try to set my Proxy user I'm not able to expand the DC container that contains my Users CN. Every time I try and select the arrow to expand the DC, the LDAP Browser screen flashes and nothing happens.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
